[TAMPA, FLORIDA] May 20, 2013 — Big Truck Rental, LLC is proud to announce the acquisition of Canadian refuse truck rental company, AMTRUCK Rentals (a division of AMTRUCK Limited).

"We've had a great working relationship with AMTRUCK over the years — and we felt it was time to take that next step as we looked to expand into Canada," said Scott Dols, owner and CEO of Big Truck Rental (BTR).

AMTRUCK, a family owned business, was founded in 1984 and originally focused on the buying and selling of refuse and municipal equipment. They began renting refuse equipment in 2005, and have been steadily expanding to service fleets throughout Canada.

"AMTRUCK has been growing on a parallel path to Big Truck Rental for years and during that time we would refer customers back and forth across the border, so we felt the time was right to officially merge," said Russell Levy, president of AMTRUCK.

"Now we have a business model that works throughout the US and Canada and can easier service those fleets that have operations on both sides of the border."

With Big Truck Rental's relationship with refuse body manufacturer Heil, AMTRUCK will now have ready access to a wider assortment of refuse vehicles for potential rental clients.

"We're excited to have Russell and the AMTRUCK Rentals team onboard and look forward to expanding our operations and our product offerings to the Canadian rental market," said Dols.

Big Truck Rental will be displaying their equipment in booth 2637 at the 2013 Waste Expo in New Orleans, LA, held at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, from May 20 thru May 23, 2013. They will also have equipment on display in the Heil Environmental booth, 2847.

The EIA Women's Council is pleased to present two industry powerhouses who will trace their successful courses of action through the recent economic crisis. Charlie Appleby, President and CEO, Advanced Disposal Services, will review his company's rapid growth from local Florida roots to a national business. Scott Dols, President and CEO, Big Truck Rental, will explain what it takes to grow at a time when competitors fail and customers restrict capital spending. Both will highlight the role of partners, investors, capital structure, and changing market conditions.

Charlie Appleby is the chairman and chief executive officer of Jacksonville-based Advanced Disposal, which is on track to become one of the largest privately owned environmental services business in the country. Starting from just $10,000 in monthly revenue, they have completed over 96 acquisitions; spent over $500 million on those acquisitions and now have operations in 20 states and annual revenues of about $1.4 billion.
